IMAS Boston Roars into the Carnival Arena 2012 iMAS Boston is the newest kind on the block in the Boston Trinidad style carnival arena, and Ex Cummcross production designer, he is now on his own and last Sunday he came out roaring as he launched his first adult band entitled “Out of Arica” The kiddies band represent the natural elements of South Africa’s ruby and blue diamond, gold from Ghana girls section and the protector of the tribe, the Boys section.
The four adult sections are targeted towards the animals of Africa the Zebra with Larry twist, Bush Viper, lioness and the lovebird – two sections Larry said “we are trying to display something different. Trying to show that MAS is more than a million feathers...craftmanship and creativity makes it happen as well.”
The audience was average and he even had a jumping cage for the young kid as the adults socialized, had some food and drink and pondered which section of the sections they would be wearing for this carnival season.
